Stealthy Police and the electric bike.
We have been looking at data from electric bikes – that are ridden by the Police. The benefits are what might be expected e.g. they use the car less – so it’s cheaper and better for the environment. Other benefits are not perhaps so obvious.
For example, the routes that the Police take can bring them into much closer contact with pedestrians, shop workers, home owners etc. Much like the Bobby of old who rode a bike around my village they can now stop and chat, or drop in for a cup of tea without worrying about parking.
